Michael Sands
President & Managing Partner
Mike is a leader within the capital markets industry, focusing on the intersection of business reinvention, change management, and generative AI. He brings 20+ years of experience driving strategic and transformational change across the capital markets industry. His expertise spans operating model design, digital and data strategy, business process redesign, technology selection and implementation, and innovation integration.
He is co-founder of BeaconAP. Previously, he served as Global GenAI Lead for Capital Markets at Accenture and as one of the asset management consulting leads. Prior to that, he was with Federated Investors.
He has led major transformation and AI strategy initiatives for asset and wealth managers, private markets firms, banks, fund administrators, and asset owners, helping organizations translate innovation into tangible business value across the front, middle, and back offices. Mike speaks frequently at industry conferences and events and is regularly interviewed by media outlets on the impact emerging technology and AI are having on asset management.

Frank Strauss
Managing Partner
Frank has extensive experience delivering meaningful change to asset management clients by transforming their back- and middle-office operations. He brings 30+ years of experience as a trusted advisor and change agent to executives across the capital markets industry.
He is co-founder of BeaconAP and previously served as a Managing Director and global lead within Accenture’s asset management consulting practice.
Frank specializes in assessing and redefining operating models to enhance efficiency, transparency, and scalability. Through in-depth technology assessments, he helps firms identify and implement cutting-edge solutions that optimize workflows, reduce operational risk, and improve overall performance. He is co-founder of BeaconAP. Previously, he was a Managing Director and lead within Accenture’s capital markets consulting practice. Gerry specializes in resolving complex business challenges and translating strategic objectives into actionable plans. With deep expertise in operating model development, program management, and service provider oversight, he has led many large-scale transformation initiatives. His ability to refine operational strategies and implement innovative technology solutions has helped clients enhance their middle- and back-office functions, improving efficiency and long-term performance.

Dominic Crowe
Managing Director
Dom is a seasoned securities operations and asset servicing executive with 35+ years of leadership experience across global financial institutions. He brings deep expertise in fund administration, asset servicing, governance, and fiduciary oversight, having led complex global businesses, strategic initiatives, and regulatory engagements.
As the former Global Head of Fund Services at Citi, he managed operations across 24 global domiciles, servicing mutual funds, private equity, private debt, infrastructure, ETFs, and institutional investors. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at BNY Mellon, leading transformational programs, regulatory initiatives, and large-scale M&A integrations, including overseeing custody and valuation services for the U.S. Treasury’s $700B TARP program.
Dom is viewed as an industry leader supporting asset managers and fund administrators through large-scale strategic change, with particular strength in governance, regulatory engagement, and enterprise-scale operating transformation.

David Martocci
Managing Director
Dave is a seasoned financial executive with 35+ years of experience across many facets of financial services, including product management, trading, sales, client service, capital optimization, and business development. He is recognized as a leader across asset management, financing, real estate investing, financial planning, and venture capital.
As the former Global Head of Securities Finance at Citi, Dave managed over $1.3 billion in global revenue from securities lending activities, successfully cultivating and retaining a premier client base that included some of the largest sovereign wealth funds, public pensions, and asset managers.
Prior to his role at Citi, Dave established three startup securities lending programs and was part of the team that built the largest third-party non-custody securities lending program at Dresdner Bank

Jim Keenan
Managing Director
Jim is a senior financial-services executive with 30+ years of experience driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, and leading high-performing teams. He has a strong track record across securities services and financial operations, known for winning major mandates, managing complex institutions, and guiding organizations through transformative change.
His expertise includes business development, sales strategy, client relationship management, and operational leadership. Jim has secured multimillion-dollar mandates—including securities-lending programs with more than $1.75 trillion in lendable assets and custody and fund administration relationships exceeding $1 trillion in AUC. He has led large custody and fund accounting teams comprising hundreds of professionals, consistently delivering excellence in accuracy, productivity, audit outcomes, and client satisfaction.
Jim is also an active contributor to industry associations and charitable initiatives, earning recognition for his leadership and service to the financial-services community.

Bob Suh
Founder and CEO of OnCorps
Bob is the founder and CEO of OnCorps. OnCorps AI provides advanced AI solutions to the financial services industry where their systems have substantially reduced manual work, errors, and risk. Their mission is to elevate work and performance by applying AI to handle predictable and laborious calculations, decisions, and tasks. He has published artificial intelligence and behavioral economics articles in Harvard Business Review and the Financial Times. Prior to OnCorps, Bob was the chief technology strategist at Accenture and chief strategy officer for the firm's technology division. He was named by Consulting Magazine to the Top 25 Consultants list. Bob was also a group president of Perot Systems, where he helped take the company public. Bob received his master's (concentration in economics and quantitative analysis) from Harvard University's Kennedy School, where he was class advisor and research assistant to the 2005 Nobel Laureate in economics. He received his bachelor's from the University of Southern California.

Lawrence is Senior Vice President & Head of Fintech Engagement at Morningstar. He leads Morningstar’s global fintech outreach and partnership initiatives and strengthen the firm’s leadership role with world-class emerging digital finance companies and organizations fostering innovation in software, data management, business intelligence and user experience in the financial services sector. Lawrence also serves as an advisor to the Fubon Center for Innovation - NYU Stern School of Business, and as a mentor with the Endless Frontier Lab. He was a director of the DePaul University iD Innovation Lab, and serves as Co-President of the US Advisory Council for the Université de Montréal. Lawrence has a track record of leading emerging growth companies to successful exits including RightPond (acquired by Morningstar). He was a co-founder of yellowpages.com (acquired by AT&T), and director of CLRS Technologies (acquired by Solta Medical / Valliant) and Fluo Labs (SXSW Innovation Award – Best-in-Class in Health, Med and BioTech).
